  • ISES New York Chapter Members Win BizBash 2010 Event Style Awards

    ISES New York Metro Chapter President, Howard Givner won big with his new mobile business application. “Super Planner” beat out 6 other finalists in the largest category of the awards show to win the BizBash Event Style Award for Best New Product.

    Super Planner contains a number of useful calculators to quickly evaluate event needs and costs for food & beverage, audio visual, and venue. Additional diagrams, facts, and tips make Super Planner a concise compilation of information and tools useful in areas critical to event planners.

    Levy Lighting NYC took home the Best Lighting Design award for their work on the Preston Bailey Book Launch at the 69th Regiment armory. Inside the raw space, Levy Lighting used larger-than-life projections and lighting to created three-dimensional versions of designs and installations illustrated in the book, “Preston Bailey Celebrations: Lush Flowers, Opulent Tales, Dramatic Spaces, and Other Inspirations for Entertaining.

    Tabletop Design Competition Winners

    Eight designers decorated holiday themed tables for the ISES New York Chapter 2nd Annual Tabletop Design competition displayed on the show floor of the BizBash New York Expo October 27th. A panel of industry leaders judged the designs. Winners were announced at the Expo’s morning keynote session.
