    Annual Holiday Party

    LOCATION: The Delegates Dining Area at the United Nations, 42nd Street & 1st Avenue, New York, NY 10017

    $65.00 for Members before Dec 3rd ($75.00 after)
    $85.00 for Non-Members before Dec 3rd ($95.00 after)
    You will be required to bring a government photo ID for admission.

    This year, we will be collecting toys (in their original wrapping) for
    Project Sunshine, a nonprofit organization that provides free educational, recreational, and social programs to children and families living with medical challenges. Baby toys including baby books, mobiles, new stuffed animals and any appropriate toys would be appreciated.

    Reservations must be cancelled by December 3, 2010 in order to receive a refund. Please email cancellation requests to [email protected]

    Registrants who have not prepaid and do not cancel will be invoiced if they do not attend.

    “How to Make It in the Events Business” will be presented on November 21st by a panel of experienced professionals that include ISES New York Metro Chapter Members Ellie Winkleman and Michael Cerbelli. The class at the Learning Annex Events Day will include information about

    • How to deal with difficult vendors and clients

    Ellie Winkleman is Director of Corporate Events for SL Green Realty Corp. (SLG) where she manages a multi-million dollar annual budget covering a broad range of corporate events, meetings and conferences for management and clients and currently serves on the ISES New York Metro Chapter Board of Directors.

    Michael Cerbelli, President of Special Events for Total Entertainment, has produced such events as Sir Paul McCartney & Heather Mills’ Wedding, The world Economic Forum, The King of Morocco’s Girthdays & New Years Eve Party.

    The Big Apple Circus Event

    On November 17th ISES New York Metro Chapter members and invited guests enjoyed the latest Big Apple Circus production. Following the show they

    • Attended a private reception catered by Restaurant Associates and mingled with a select group of their clients invited for this special evening.
    • Got an insider look at the sleek new Tents at Lincoln Center, including the 7,500 square foot Gold Room tent available for private events.
    • Learned about how to access Big Apple Circus resources for special events.

    The entire evening, planned especially for ISES New York Metro Chapter members, included pre and post show networking receptions as well as tickets to the circus performance under an intimate Big Top in Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center! During the private reception at 8:30 pm, Big Apple Circus Artistic Director, Guillaume Dufresnoy and the Executive Director, Gary Dunning discussed

    • How events under their Big Top can bring added value to clients
    • How to hire Big Apple Circus performers for your event and
