Chapter President, Howard Givner’s new iPhone App, Super Planner, won the Special Events Gala Award for Best New/Innovative Event Product/Technology. Super Planner contains a number of useful calculators to quickly evaluate event needs and costs for food & beverage, audio visual, and venue. Additional diagrams, facts, and tips make Super Planner a concise compilation of information and tools useful in areas critical to event planners.
Led by Chapter President-Elect, Debra Roth, Pink powered by MOSS, won the award for Most Creative Booth on the exhibit floor of more than 300 exhibitors. The “cool” new booth featured the concept of Powerfully Creative – a program which features the newly infused Pink, Powered by Moss’ new products including 1. The Juice Bar – Charging Stations – available for rental and purchase these innovative recharge stations offer a place for your attendees to Charge Up! 2. Using motion censors the EmpowerStation let’s your guests guide themselves through digital data. This user friendly kiosk also has a producer friendly interface.
